About

Randy’s portfolio represents his 35-years of work with architects, interior and landscape designers, photo editors, art directors, graphic designers and museum curators. From 1976-1983 he was head photographer at Yale Photographic Services, Yale University. After a reconstruction of the department Randy became a freelance photographer on assignment in the US and Europe. Randy’s portfolio is as diverse as his personal interests. He has worked with The Mattatuck Museum, Yale Art Gallery, Yale Center for British Art, numerous museums, private collectors and galleries photographing architecture, decorative and fine art.

Working with Randy is never dull. His warm personality, quick wit and superior ability to problem solve make for easy shoots even with last minute adjustments and time constraints. Though he still loves his darkroom, Randy was one of the first to enter into the digital age working in a digital darkroom at The Hartford Courant 1994-2001and Scitex/Leaf and Sinar/ Bron at the New York Photography Expo in 1998-2003.

His love of travel was recently fed by a trip to Bhutan and India which inspired the landing page for his website. If there is a subject you don’t see, there is a good chance Randy has photographed it, ask.
